Zesty Italian Sausage Pasta
Flavorful Johnsonville® Italian Sausage with broccoli in a light tomato garlic sauce with tender linguine pasta makes a dish that is simply irresistible!
package (19 ounces) JOHNSONVILLE® Fresh Italian Mild Sausage Links
package (8 ounces) linguine
tablespoons olive oil
small onion, thinly sliced
clove garlic, minced
can (14.5 ounces) diced Italian tomatoes
can (10.5 ounces) chicken broth
cups broccoli florets
Prepare sausage according to package directions. Cut into ¼-inch bias-slice pieces; set aside and keep warm.
Prepare pasta according to package directions; drain.
In a large skillet, cook and stir onion and garlic in oil over medium heat until tender; 3-5 minutes.
Stir in the tomatoes, chicken broth, broccoli and cooked pasta. Cook and stir over medium-low heat until broccoli in tender; 5-8 minutes.
Add sausage; toss to combine. Cook and stir until sausage is heated through; about 5 minutes.
Remove casing from sausage.
In the Multi-Cooker, cook and crumble sausage on sauté setting, add the onions and garlic, cooking until sausage is browned and internal temperature is 160°; about 10 minutes.
Stir in the tomatoes, chicken broth and broccoli.
Secure lid on pot and close pressure-release valve.
Select manual high pressure setting for 2 minutes, use quick pressure release to depressurize.
Add pasta, toss to combine.
