extra virgin olive oil

garlic, chopped

red onion, cut into thin strips

mushrooms, sliced thick

pesto

shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions
Preheat oven to 425°F.
In a skillet, cook and crumble sausage over medium heat until browned and fully cooked; about 7-10 minutes. Remove from skillet; set aside.
In the same skillet, cook and stir onions, mushrooms and garlic in oil over medium heat until tender; about 3-5 minutes.
Spread pizza dough with pesto. Layer the sausage, onion mixture, cheeses and red pepper flakes.
Bake until the crust is crisp and cheese is bubbly; about 15 minutes.
