Summer Sizzle Veggies & Sausage
This grilled one-pan wonder makes the best simple nutritious dinner with virtually no clean up. Fill up the pan with Johnsonville Fresh Italian Sausage Links, asparagus, onions, summer squash, red bell peppers, cherry tomatoes and fresh basil, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, then drizzle with balsamic glaze for a tantalizing taste bud experience.

package (19 ounces) JOHNSONVILLE Fresh Italian Hot Sausage Links or Fresh Italian Mild Sausage Links

large onion, sliced

cups asparagus, cut into 2-inch pieces

medium summer squash, halved and sliced

medium zucchini, halved and sliced

red bell pepper, chunked

cloves garlic, minced

cup cherry tomatoes, halved

tablespoons chopped fresh basil

Salt and pepper, to taste

Crushed red pepper, to taste

Balsamic glaze, to garnish

Directions

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

Prepare sausage according to package directions.

In a large bowl, combine the onions, asparagus, squash, zucchini, peppers and garlic; toss with olive oil. Spoon onto a sheet pan; add sausage.

Grill for 10 minutes; add the tomatoes and grill an additional 5 minutes.

Toss with basil, salt, pepper and crushed red pepper; drizzle with balsamic glaze.

Sprinkle with shredded Parmesan cheese.
