Smoked Sausage Cajun Dirty Brown Rice
Enjoy the dirty in less than thirty! This famous Cajun classic gets the Johnsonville treatment with a little help from Uncle Ben’s. The flavors of the brown rice are accentuated with onions, celery, bell peppers, Cajun seasoning and garlic. Johnsonville’s Smoked Sausage gives the dish an extra boost with its own blend of signature flavors. Use some hot sauce for an extra kick that will really wake up your taste buds.

green onions, thinly sliced
Directions
Heat oil in a large sauté pan. Add onion, pepper, celery and Cajun seasoning and sauté until onions are soft and brown.
While vegetables cook, heat UNCLE BEN’S® READY RICE® Whole Grain Brown in microwave according to package instructions.
Add in garlic and sausage with vegetables and cook until sausage has browned.
Add rice, half the green onions, and hot pepper sauce.
Mix well and serve, garnishing with remaining green onion.
