light beer

brown sugar

smoked tomato seasoning

Directions

Blend spices together.

Heat olive oil in large stock pot over medium-high heat.

Add onions and sauté until translucent about 5-10 minutes.

Add garlic, bell pepper, and jalapeno and continue sautéing until softened about another 2-3 minutes.

Add sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Add tomatoes with juice, stir together and lower heat to a simmer.

Add spice blend and continue stirring until incorporated, cover and simmer for another 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
