Sausage Broccoli Stir-Fry
Want a great way to get more veggies in your diet? Add some delicious Johnsonville Sausage to the mix! This recipe takes fresh broccoli, garlic and ginger to create a mouth-watering stir-fry. For an authentic Asian touch, use your favorite teriyaki sauce (oyster or plum sauce work great too). All of this stir-fry goodness isn’t complete without Johnsonville Smoked Premium Cooking Sausage. The sausage adds a great texture and flavor that will help make the broccoli on your plate vanish in no time!
(13.5 ounce) JOHNSONVILLE® Premium Fully Cooked Smoked Sausage Rope, cut into coins
ginger, finely chopped
fresh broccoli florets
3 to 4
teriyaki, oyster, or plum sauce
hot cooked rice
cashew halves, if desired
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.
Add the sausage, ginger and garlic. Stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes or until lightly browned.
Add the broccoli, water and teriyaki sauce; cook and stir for 3 to 4 minutes or until broccoli is crisp-tender.
Serve over rice.
If desired, sprinkle with cashews.
