(16 ounces) JOHNSONVILLE® All Natural Fresh Italian Hot Ground Sausage, or 1 package (19 ounces) JOHNSONVILLE® Fresh Italian Hot Sausage Links, casings removed
prepared pizza crust
shredded mozzarella cheese
fresh basil leaves, thinly sliced
crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
Kalamata olives or other brine-cured black olives, pitted and halved
green bell pepper, quartered
Preheat to 425°F.
In a large skillet, cook and crumble sausage over medium heat until browned and fully cooked; set aside.
Place pizza crust on baking sheet. Spread sauce over crust, leaving ¾-inch border around the edge.
Top with 3/4 cup mozzarella, 1/4 cup basil, sausage, 1/2 cup Gorgonzola, olives, remaining mozzarella, bell peppers and remaining Gorgonzola.
Bake pizza until crust is crisp and completely heated; about 13 minutes.
Remove from oven; sprinkle with remaining basil.
