Omelet in a Mug
Milk or Half-n-Half
Shredded Cheddar Cheese (or other variety of choice)
Fresh Ground Pepper
TABASCO Original Red Pepper Sauce (optional)
OPTIONAL PROTEIN (pick one)
JOHNSONVILLE® Original Recipe Fully Cooked Breakfast Sausage cut into 1/2" rounds
Bacon, cooked and crumbled
Lightly spray a large microwave-safe coffee mug with cooking spray.
In a small bowl, combine Eggs, Milk, Cheese, and Pepper, stirring to mix well.
Pour mixture into the mug and microwave for 1 minute; stir again; microwave for another 30-40 seconds, or until egg is set.
VARIATION: Add optional protein and add into mix at the beginning.
VARIATION: Add 1 tsp Diced Onion or 1 tsp Diced Green Pepper. Add into mix at the beginning.
VARIATION: Add in, or sprinkle as a topping, any Herbs of choice (Oregano, Basil, Cilantro, Parsley, Garlic Powder, etc.)
VARIATION: Add 3-4 Tbsp SIMPLY POTATOES Garlic & Herb Hash Browns. Start by placing in the mug and microwave for 1 minute, stir (keeps from sticking together) and microwave for 1 more minute, then proceed with recipe as above.
