Johnsonville Sausage Balls
This Johnsonville® creation is an easy appetizer to make and has all the right flavors...hot Italian sausage, Cheddar cheese, onions and mushrooms that come together to create beautiful spheres of savory goodness.
In a skillet, cook and crumble sausage over medium heat until cooked through and lightly browned; drain.
In a large bowl, combine the sausage, cheese, baking mix, onion, mushrooms and milk; mix well.
Shape mixture into 36 walnut-size balls; place on a greased baking sheet.
Bake at 350°F until lightly browned; about 15 - 20 minutes.
Remove from oven; let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Serve with barbeque or chutney sauce.
