Johnsonville Chile & Roasted Garlic Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms
- 1 package
red pepper, finely diced
(8 ounces) cream cheese, cubed softened
shredded Parmesan cheese
baby portabella mushrooms
seasoned Panko bread crumbs
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Remove mushroom stems and discard; set caps aside.
Place mushroom caps on foil-lined baking sheets; set aside.
In a skillet, cook and stir sausage and pepper over medium heat until sausage is no longer pink; about 5-7 minutes.
Add cream cheese and Parmesan cheese; stir and heat through.
Fill each mushroom with sausage and cream cheese mixture.
In a bowl, combine bread crumbs and butter; sprinkle over sausage mixture.
Bake for 14-16 minutes or until mushrooms lightly browned.
Air Fryer Preparation: Preheat air fryer for 3 minutes at 320°F. Place the stuffed mushrooms into the preheated air fryer. Cook mushrooms at 320°F for 6 minutes or until browned.
