Crisp Apple and Sausage Salad
This refreshing Apple and Sausage Salad has all the goodness in a dish to create a meal that's quick, easy and healthy! For this salad’s hunger-stopping power, add Johnsonville® sausage without the bun. This recipe includes mixed greens, Granny Smith apples, blue cheese and a honey mustard dressing to create a delicious light meal.

Granny Smith apple, thinly sliced

mixed salad greens

red onion, thinly sliced

crumbled blue cheese

Directions
In a skillet, cook and stir sausage in oil over medium heat until browned; set aside to cool.
In a small bowl, combine apple slices and lemon juice.
In a large salad bowl, combine the salad greens, onion, blue cheese and apple slices; add salad dressing and toss to coat.
Gently stir in sausage.
