Cheesy Sausage Mac and Cheese
The family will crave this mac and cheese recipe filled with Johnsonville Beddar with Cheddar Smoked Rope Sausage, cavatappi pasta and broccoli florets smothered in a creamy Cheddar cheese sauce.
package (13.5 ounces) JOHNSONVILLE Beddar with Cheddar Smoked Rope Sausage, cut into ½-inch coin-slice pieces
cups uncooked cavatappi or elbow macaroni pasta
can (12 ounces) evaporated milk
cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese or smoked Cheddar cheese
ounces cream cheese, cubed
package (10.8 ounces) broccoli, prepare according to package directions
In a large pot, bring 4-1/4 cups water to a boil.
Add pasta. Boil for 8 minutes or until just tender, stirring occasionally. (Do not drain!)
Add milk to pasta. Return to boil.
Add Cheddar cheese and cream cheese; stir until melted.
Fold in sausage and broccoli; cook and stir until heated through.
Garnish each serving with desired toppings.
