Cheesy Bratwurst Pastry Wraps
This crisp hand-held sandwich is full of flavor and it's a perfect partner for soup.
(19 ounces) JOHNSONVILLE® Cheddar Brats
American cheese, shredded
puff pastry, thawed and cut into 4 x 4-inch squares
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Cook sausage according to package directions or grill sausage according to directions on a JOHNSONVILLE® Sizzling Sausage Grill PLUS. Let cool slightly; cut into ¼-inch bias-sized pieces.
In a skillet, cook and stir onions in butter over medium heat until translucent and slightly brown; about 3- 5 minutes. Set aside.
In a saucepan, cook broccoli in a small amount of water until crisp-tender; drain well.
Evenly divide the sausage, broccoli, onion and cheese onto pastry squares.
Wet edges of pastry with water. Bring corners of pastry together and pinch edges to seal.
Place on an ungreased baking sheet and bake until golden brown; about 12 minutes.
