A new twist on a familiar sandwich, this Cheddar Ranch SLT (Sausage Lettuce & Tomato) is sure to be a hit!

JOHNSONVILLE Beddar with Cheddar Smoked Sausage Links, cut into bias-slice pieces

Italian bread, cut into 1/4-inch bias-slice pieces

olive oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

mayonnaise

dry ranch dressing mix

shredded Cheddar cheese

thinly sliced green leaf lettuce

diced tomatoes

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Arrange bread slices on baking sheet and brush top side with oil; season with salt and pepper. Bake 10-15 minutes or until golden.

In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, ranch mix and Cheddar cheese; set aside.

In a large skillet, cook and stir sausage pieces over medium heat until browned; about 5 minutes.

To assemble, spread 1 tablespoon ranch mixture on each slice of bread. Top with the lettuce, 3 slices of sausage and tomatoes.
