Zesty Taco and Rice Skillet
A one-pot skillet meal is the perfect dinner solution when made with Johnsonville® Taco Ground Pork Sausage.


Ingredients

package (16 ounces) JOHNSONVILLE® Original Taco Ground Pork Sausage

red bell pepper, chopped

1/2
cup onion, chopped

cup corn
-
1
can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes with green chilies, undrained

cup canned black beans, rinsed and drained

can (8 ounces) tomato sauce

package (8.8 ounces) microwave ready rice

Optional toppings: shredded pepper Jack cheese, cilantro or green onion

In a skillet, cook and crumble sausage over medium heat until sausage is browned and the internal temperature is 160°F; about 10 minutes. Drain if desired. Set aside in large bowl.

In the same skillet, add red pepper, onion, corn and black beans, cook and stir 3-4 minutes. Add sausage back to skillet.

Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce and rice. Bring to boil; reduce heat to simmer for 5 minutes.

Serve with desired toppings.
