Taco Sausage Bubble Bake
Try this easy-to-prepare Mexican-style casserole filled with Johnsonville® Taco Ground Pork Sausage and biscuits that bubbles-up when baking! Add your favorite fresh toppings to make it special!

package (16 ounces) JOHNSONVILLE® Original Taco Ground Pork Sausage

jar (24 ounces) chunky salsa

can (15 ounces) black beans, rinsed and drained

cups shredded Mexican blend cheese, divided

1/2
cup chopped onions

can (16.3 ounces) large refrigerated biscuits

Optional toppings: chopped green onions, sour cream or chopped tomato

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Spray a 9x13-inch baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.

In a skillet, cook and crumble sausage over medium heat until sausage is browned and the internal temperature is 160°F; about 10 minutes. Drain if desired.

Stir in the salsa, black beans, 1 cup cheese and onions.

Separate dough into 8 biscuits. Cut each biscuit into 8 pie-shaped pieces. In a large bowl, combine biscuit pieces and the sausage and bean mixture.

Spoon evenly into the prepared baking pan.

Bake until biscuits are golden brown and thoroughly baked in the center of casserole; 30-35 minutes.

Sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Bake for 2 minutes longer or until the cheese is melted.
