Everyone will LOVE these! The ultimate loaded quesadilla filled with Johnsonville® Original or Hot Taco Ground Pork Sausage and shredded cheese, served with a creamy sauce…so flavorful!

package (16 ounces) JOHNSONVILLE® Original Taco Ground Pork Sausage

burrito sized plain or jalapeno Cheddar flour tortillas (10-inches)

cups shredded quesadilla cheese or chipotle Cheddar cheese

tablespoons butter

cup sour cream
-
1
lime, juiced

1/2 cup cilantro leaves

1/2
medium avocado

teaspoon seasoned salt

In a skillet, cook and crumble sausage over medium heat until sausage is browned and the internal temperature is 160°F; about 10 minutes. Drain if desired.

On a work surface, butter one side of each tortilla; place butter side down in a clean skillet.

Sprinkle about ½ cup sausage over half of the tortilla; sprinkle with ¼ cup cheese. Fold remaining half of tortilla over filling.

Cook over medium heat, turning once, until tortilla is golden brown and cheese is melted. Repeat with the remaining tortillas, sausage and cheese.

For the sauce, in a food processor, combine the sour cream, lime juice, cilantro, avocado and salt; cover and process until smooth. Serve with quesadillas.
