When dinner needs to be on the table in a hurry, make these quick and easy tacos using Johnsonville® Taco Ground Pork Sausage. If it’s time for breakfast, switch out the lettuce for scrambled eggs and voila!...another quick meal idea.
package (16 ounces) JOHNSONVILLE® Original Taco Ground Pork Sausage (about 1-1/4 cups uncooked sausage)
bag (8 ounces) shredded iceberg lettuce
tub (10 ounces) Pico de Gallo
bag (8 ounces) Mexican blend cheese
flour or corn taco shells
In a skillet, cook and crumble sausage over medium heat until sausage is browned and the internal temperature is 160°F; about 10 minutes. Drain if desired.
Arrange taco shells on work surface, fill with the sausage, cheese, lettuce and Pico de Gallo.
