Sausage Waffle-wich Bloody Mary
Turn this iconic morning cocktail into a savory eye-opening drink by adding Johnsonville® Breakfast Sausage and Johnsonville Spicy Sausage Strips™ to create a waffle-wich grilled cheese garnish.
package (11.1 ounces) JOHNSONVILLE® Original Recipe Fully Cooked Breakfast Sausage
mini waffles or 8 portions of a large waffle, toasted
slices Monterey Jack cheese, cut in half
pimento stuffed olives
Bloody Mary mix
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Cook breakfast sausage and sausage strips according to package directions; set aside.
Place waffles on baking sheet.
Place one-half cheese slice on each waffle; top with sausage and another half cheese slice.
Bake until cheese is melted; about 5-8 minutes.
Immediately assemble two sausage cheese waffles on skewers; thread skewer with sausage strip and olive. Repeat three more times.
Pour bloody Mary mix in glasses and serve with sausage waffle-wich.
