Cheesy Pimento Sausage Dip
A creamy melty cheese combines with flavorful of Johnsonville® Salt & Pepper Ground Pork Sausage for a delicious dip to serve family and friends.

package (16 ounces) JOHNSONVILLE® Salt & Pepper Ground Pork Sausage

cups shredded Colby-Jack cheese

package (8 ounces) cream cheese, room temperature

cup mayonnaise

jar (4 ounces) diced pimientos, drained (reserve 1 tablespoon for garnish)

tablespoons finely chopped green onion; white portion only

can (4 ounces) chopped green chilies

teaspoon garlic powder

teaspoon cayenne pepper

1/4
cup chopped green onion tops, to garnish

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a skillet, cook and crumble sausage over medium heat until sausage is browned and the internal temperature is 160°F; about 10 minutes. Drain if desired. Set aside.

In a large bowl, combine the Colby-Jack cheese, cream cheese, mayonnaise, pimentos, onion, chilies and seasonings; fold in sausage.

Spray a deep-dish pie plate with cooking spray; spoon sausage mixture into pie plate.

Bake for 20 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.

Garnish with reserved pimentos and green onion tops.

Serve with chips or crackers.
