Cheesy Sausage Shooters
This appetizer will have company coming back for more! The combination of spicy Johnsonville Andouille Smoked Rope Sausage, savory Johnsonville Sausage Strips and creamy cheese make this a must have for any party.
package (12 ounces) JOHNSONVILLE Original Sausage Strips®
package (13.5 ounces) JOHNSONVILLE Andouille Smoked Rope Sausage, cut into ¾-inch coin-slice pieces
ounces cream cheese, cut into 12 cubes
(1/2-inch) cubes of Colby-Jack cheese
Spicy brown mustard
Sliced green onions
Chopped red peppers
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Wrap a sausage strip around each Andouille slice; securing with a toothpick.
Place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Place one cube of cream cheese and one cube of Colby-Jack cheese in each shooter.
Bake until sausage and cheese are browned; about 20 minutes.
Top with the mustard, green onions and red peppers. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
