One-Pot Camper's Hash
Favorite breakfast foods can be enjoyed anywhere when setting up camp, thanks to this easy one-pot recipe. It combines unbeatable sausage flavor, eggs and hash browns for a high protein breakfast.
package (13-1/2 ounces) JOHNSONVILLE® Roasted Garlic Turkey Sausage, cut rope into bias-sized pieces
package (20 ounces) refrigerated Southwest Style shredded hash browns
Salt and pepper, to taste
cup shredded cheese
Chopped fresh chives, for garnish
In a large pot or CanCooker, melt butter over medium heat. Add sausage pieces and hash browns, cook until browned; about 15 minutes.
Make 6 wells in potatoes; crack an egg in each well. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Cover and cook over medium low heat for 5 minutes or until eggs are desired doneness.
Sprinkle with cheese; cover and let stand for 5 minutes.
Sprinkle with chives.
