Not your average "Burger.First for all those complaining that these don't taste like hamburgers, THEY'RE NOT SUPPOSE TO! These aren't burgers, they are Brat patties that have a smokey steakhouse onion flavor, and if you go into it expecting a flavorful Brat patty you will not be disappointed by it, these are the best! But I do have one complaint and that's that they are no longer 1/3 lb patties, but they are still the same price. I really wish that Johnsonville offered the choice in sizes, that way the grocery stores could charge accordingly. One of our favorite bars used these patties on their house special burger, it was a 1/3 lb beef patty, a 1/3 lb Brat patty, a fried egg, and bacon, and ham! Yes it was huge, and you had better have skipped lunch that day, but they were a huge favorite back then. Sadly now that Johnsonville has reduced the size they no longer have the house burger that used the 1/3 lb Johnsonville Brat patty, they have found a different source for the Brat patty, and they just aren't as good. It's a shame that Johnsonville decided to make them smaller, and still charge the same price, shame on you! We still buy these for at home, and now we just use two on top of a burger, but it's just not the same...... — The Professor of Grilling
