  1. Preheat grill to medium-low.

  1. Spray a skillet with cooking spray.
  2. Add sausage.
  3. Cook over medium-high heat until browned, about 5 minutes, turning links often.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low.
  5. Carefully add ½ cup water to skillet.
  6. Cover and simmer for 12 minutes or until sausage internal temperature reaches 160°F.


  1. Thaw product prior to cooking.
  2. Using nylon tongs (never a fork), carefully place uncooked refrigerated sausage into positions on the bottom grill plate. The grill accommodates from one (1) to five (5) sausage links. The center position (#1) must always be filled with a sausage link.
  3. Close grill cover over sausage links. The temperature probe in the top center position will insert into the center sausage link as the grill cover is closed.
  4. Push in latch on grill handle until it "clicks" to secure the grill cover closed.
  5. Press the start button to turn the grill on. Start button red light will illuminate. Typical cook time for refrigerated, uncooked Johnsonville dinner sausage is 10-15 minutes.
  6. The grill will signal with four short beeps and automatically shut off when the sausage reaches doneness temperature.

  2. Place sausage in a single layer in multi-cooker insert. Select “Sauté” setting. Sauté sausage until browned, about 6 minutes, turning links often.
  3. Carefully add ½ cup water.
  4. Lock pressure cooker lid and close vent; select “Egg” setting.
  5. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Carefully release pressure and remove lid.
  6. Sausage is fully cooked when the internal temperature is at least 160°F. Use a meat thermometer to ensure sausage is fully cooked.

  3. Cook for 9-11 minutes until sausage is browned and the internal temperature is 160°F, turning once. Use a meat thermometer to ensure sausage is fully cooked.
