Flame Grilled Cheddar Sausage

Microwave
  1. Place 1 link on a plate. Cover with a paper towel.
  2. Microwave on high for 40-45 seconds or until heated through.
  3. Let stand 1 minute before eating.
Directions are based on an 1100 watt microwave.
Stovetop
  1. Spray a skillet with cooking spray. Add sausage.
  2. Cook over medium heat until browned, about 5 minutes, turning links often.
  3. Reduce heat to medium-low. Carefully add 3-4 tablespoons of water to skillet.
  4. Cover and steam for 5 minutes or until heated through.
  5. For additional browning, remove cover and allow any remaining water to boil off.
  6. Continue heating links, turning frequently, until desired color is achieved.
Oven
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Place sausage on a shallow baking pan.
  3. Bake for 11-13 minutes or until heated through, turning links once.
Grill
  1. Preheat grill to medium-low. Add sausage.
  2. Cook, covered, for 12-14 minutes or until sausage is browned and heated through, turning links often.
