Delicious and tasty!!. Love the Italian style chicken sausage!! I was a huge fan of the Cheddarwurst sausages but after having a heart attack I had to pretty much give them up. I tried eating just one once in a while, however, that is an impossible task for me. I saw the chicken sausage advertised on television recently and thought I'd give them a try. I was NOT disappointed!! My favorite way to prepare them is browned in a skillet, then adding sliced potatoes and chopped green peppers. Let it all simmer slowly to let the flavors blend and then look out stomach, let the feast begin!!! I did add a small amount of butter so as to "fry" the potatoes. Thanks, Johnsonville!!! - Place sausage and ½-inch water in a pan; cover pan.
- Simmer over medium-low heat for 6-8 minutes or until heated through.
- Preheat grill to medium-low.
- Grill 10-12 minutes or until heated through, turning links often.
- Place 1 link on a plate.
- Cover with a paper towel.
- Microwave on high for 60 seconds or until heated through.
- Let stand 1 minute before eating.
