Johnsonville to Open its First Retail Store

First-of-its-kind retail location to provide Naples-area residents access to products from nation’s No. 1 sausage brand

Johnsonville Sausage, LLC announced plans to open the “Johnsonville Sausage Marketplace,” the company’s first retail location, in Naples, Fla.  The first-of-its-kind store will provide area residents an opportunity to purchase a wide variety of products from the nation’s No. 1 sausage brand.

The “Johnsonville Sausage Marketplace” will be located at 6355 Naples Blvd. in the Boulevard Shoppes in North Naples and is set to open in mid-November.  Additional information regarding a grand opening celebration will be available closer to that time.

“We are thrilled we’ll soon have this new opportunity to share the ‘big flavor’ of Johnsonville sausage with even more people in the Naples area,” said Johnsonville Owner and CEO Ralph Stayer.  “While Wisconsin is where my wife and I are from, the Collier County community also feels like home.  We are excited to share the sausage and products we are so passionate about with everyone here.”

Johnsonville produces about 40 different varieties of sausage and is the No. 1 national brand of brats, Italian sausage, smoked-cooked links and fresh breakfast sausage links.  Additionally, the company now produces varieties of meatballs; sausage slices; and Grillers, gourmet burger patties made from premium cuts of pork.

According to Stayer, this new venture gives Johnsonville a unique way to interact with and learn from the brand’s consumers.

“We have always had a close and ongoing relationship with our consumers,” said Stayer.  “We’re excited about the new perspective and additional opportunities to interact with our consumers this new retail store will provide, as well.”

Along with delicious sausage products, the “Johnsonville Sausage Marketplace” will offer Johnsonville mustard and buns, branded apparel, cookbooks and grilling items.  Additionally, the store will sell select specialty items from Wisconsin, including fine cheese and gourmet popcorn.

“The store will resemble a shopping market from the 1930s and will truly give folks a feel for the origin of our delicious sausage – the small town where it all began – Johnsonville, Wisconsin,” said Stayer.

Wisconsin-based Johnsonville Sausage is the No. 1 national sausage brand, featuring: brats, Italian sausage, smoked-cooked links, breakfast sausage, Grillers and meatballs. Johnsonville products are served in 125 professional, college and semi-pro sports stadiums throughout the U.S.

Johnsonville employs approximately 1,600 members. Founded in 1945 by the late Ralph F. and Alice Stayer, the privately held company remains family owned today, providing various sausage products in 40 countries. For additional information, visit www.johnsonville.com.
