Summer Grilled Peach and Bratwurst Kabobs

Summer Grilled Peach and Bratwurst Kabobs

What you need

  • 1pkg.
    (5 links) Johnsonville Original Bratwurst
  • 3
    ripe peaches, still firm
  • 1large
    red onion, cut into 1" chunks
  • 2large
    green bell peppers, seeded and cut into 2" chunks
  • 1/2cup
    peach nectar
  • 2Tbsp.
    rice wine vinegar
  • 2Tbsp.
    soy sauce
  • 1Tbsp.
    vegetable oil
  • 1Tbsp.
    garlic clove, minced

Preparation

    Heat outdoor grill in indoor grill pan to medium high heat. Soak 6 wooden skewers in water until ready to use.

    Cut each bratwurst into 5 pieces and set aside. Core peaches and cut each into 6 thick slices. Set aside.

    In a large mixing bowl add peach nectar, vinegar, soy sauce, vegetable oil and minced garlic. Whisk to combine. Stir in bratwurst, peaches, bell pepper and onions. Toss to coat.

    Thread the bratwurst, peaches, bell pepper and onions alternately onto the soaked skewers.

    Grill over medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes or until sausage is cooked through, turning and basting frequently with any reserved sauce.
