Southwest Black Bean Soup

Southwest Black Bean Soup
What you need
- 2cans(15 oz.) black beans
- 1pkg.(14 oz.) Johnsonville® Smoked Brats, coin-sliced
- 1can(14.5 oz.) tomatoes, diced
- 3clovesgarlic, minced
- 2tsp.lime juice
- 1/4tsp.red pepper flakes
- 1/4cupsweet yellow pepper, diced
- sour cream, lime wedges, Jalapeno peppers (optional)
Preparation
- 1In large saucepan, combine black beans, brats, tomatoes, garlic, lime juice and red pepper flakes.
- 2Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer 10-15 minutes.
- 3Garnish with yellow pepper. If desired, serve topped with sour cream, lime wedges and/or jalapeno peppers.
