South-of-the-Border Sausage Bath
What you need
- 132 oz.carton of beef broth
- 114.5 oz.can of fire-roasted tomatoes and chilies
- 1lime with peel, quartered
- 1bunchcilantro
- 2pkgs.(19 oz. each) Johnsonville® Grilling Chorizo Sausage Links
- Large12-in. x 9-in.heavy-duty disposable foil pan
Preparation
- 1Preheat grill to medium-low.
- 2In a large heavy-duty disposable foil pan, combine the broth, tomatoes, lime and cilantro.
- 3Place pan on the grill. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- 4Add the chorizo sausage and cover pan with foil. Simmer for 10-15 minutes or until a thermometer inserted into sausage reads 160°F.
- 5Remove sausage from the pan. Grill links until browned; return to pan.
- 6Cover pan and keep warm.
