we loved it, but made changes.

We switched to your chicken sausage, did low calorie Alfredo sauce and whole grain pasta, for more waist friendly recipe. I just wanted to add that I have to make 2 LBS of this, because my mother and grandparents always want some too. So good. Thanks for the recipe.

Knocked me outta my SOCKS!

by KINGgoHAM 6 months ago
I grabbed this sausage because it was on sale and had an easy recipe on it. My 13 year old niece was spending the weekend with me and I wanted a meal that would be easy enough for her to assist with and learn some cooking techniques, as well as introduce her to some new flavors. I expected it to be just "ok" but not spectacular. BOY was I WRONG! The flavors were well developed and preparation was not very difficult but challenging enough to keep a 13 year olds attention. I am pleasantly surprised at this dish and recommend it to all!

I loved how the cheese was already in the sausage and it mixed with the zucchini, onion and garlic so well. The cheese was so creamy that I almost didn't need the alfredo sauce. Even my kids love dit!

Excellent!

by WoodysSis 10 months ago
This was an outstanding dish and so easy to prepare. I used garlic alfredo sauce and instead a green bell pepper I used yellow, red, and orange peppers for a colorful and delicious dish.

Is there a 'lighter' version?

by NvPBo 10 months ago
I was very interested in this recipe until I saw the jarred Alfredo sauce. Recommendations to make this without this ingredient and lighten the calories?

Really, really tasty

by LilaT 11 months ago
My picky eaters liked this a lot, and it was nice to know how many veggies were in the dish. The chopping took a while but so worth the extra time for tasty food. I also used a sundried tomato alfredo sauce and it was perfect. We will add this to the rotation! (Oh -- and I only used one of the sausages, sliced pretty thin, and it felt like enough for our family of 5.)

Delicious! A family-wide hit!

by Mom2PickyEaters 1 year ago
What a great way to introduce new favors and lots of fresh veggies to my two young boys -- they loved it! A variety of sauces would be yummy additions to this recipe. We followed the recipe this time, but I'd love to try something different next time.

This was so delicious!

We used a Sun-Dried Tomato Alfredo sauce and added a can of quartered artichoke hearts. It was one of the best recipes that we had tried in a long time. This recipe is definitely a keeper as it got my husband to eat his veggies!
