- Crust
- 3 cups Ore-Ida® Country Style Hash Browns, thawed
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- Filling
- 1 package (12 ounces) JOHNSONVILLE® Original breakfast sausage links
- 6 eggs
- 2 cups (8 ounces) Sargento® shredded 4-Cheese Mexican blend cheese
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons bacon bits
Directions
- For the crust, combine the hash browns, butter, salt and pepper. Press onto the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie plate. Bake at 375°F for 12 to 14 minutes or until lightly browned.
- For the filling, cook sausage according to package directions; cut into ½-inch pieces and arrange on crust.
- In a bowl, combine the eggs, cheese, milk, tomatoes, cilantro, salt and pepper.
- Pour into crust. Sprinkle with bacon bits.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until set.
