Italian Sausage Rigatoni

Ingredients

  • 1 package (19 ounces) JOHNSONVILLE Mild Italian Sausage
  • 1 package (16 ounces) uncooked rigatoni pasta
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large sweet red pepper, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chopped Italian parsley
  • 1 jar (26 ounces) pasta sauce

Cooking Instructions

  1. Cook sausage according to package directions. Cool slightly; cut 1/4-inch coin-slice pieces and set aside.
  2. Meanwhile, cook rigatoni according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook and stir garlic in olive oil until golden brown; about 30 seconds.
  4. Add red peppers to skillet; cook and stir for about 2 minutes until crisp-tender.
  5. Add sausage to skillet; stir in pasta sauce and heat through.
  6. Add pasta; toss to combine. Sprinkle with parsley.
