Four-Cheese Italian with Garlic Basil Sauce
What you need
- 1pkg.(19 oz.) Johnsonville® Four-Cheese Italian Sausage Links
- 1mediumonion, finely chopped
- 1Tbsp.garlic, minced
- 3Tbsp.olive oil
- 3/4cupfrozen peas
- 1 1/2Tbsp.cornstarch
- 1can(14 oz.) reduced-sodium chicken broth
- 1/4tsp.pepper
- 1/4cupfresh basil, chopped
- hot cooked angel hair pasta
Preparation
- 1Prepare sausage links according to package directions, bias-slice and keep warm.
- 2In a skillet, sauté onion and garlic in olive oil until tender.
- 3Add peas.
- 4Combine the cornstarch, broth and pepper until smooth; stir into onion mixture.
- 5Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
- 6Stir in sausage and basil. Serve over pasta.
