Cheesy Cheddar Roll-ups

by Melba Balwick 3 months ago
I tried this recipe, but made two changes and really liked it. The two changes I made were that I didn't saute the onions before I layered them onto the crescent rolls, I used sweet raw onions. The second thing I changed was that I used the regular prepared mustard. The roll-ups were delicious and I will make the recipe again. Using raw sweet onions and the prepared mustard gave them more of a burger taste. It seemed just heating the onions during the baking, rather than sauteing, really brought out the sweet onion flavor that went well with the cheddar sausage.
