Cheddar Brat Mac & Cheese

What you need

  • 1pkg.
    (19 oz.) Johnsonville® Cheddar Bratwurst
  • 1pkg.
    (16 oz.) elbow macaroni
  • 1jar
    (23 oz.) Tostitos® Salsa Con Queso
  • 1cup
    sharp cheddar cheese, cubed
  • 1/2cup
    water
  • 1tsp.
    ground cumin
  • 1/8tsp.
    cayenne pepper
  • 3/4 cup
    pepper jack cheese, shredded
  • 3
    green onions, sliced (optional)

Preparation

    Preheat grill to medium-low heat. Grill brats according to package directions; cut into ½-in. slices.

    Cook macaroni according to package directions for firm pasta.

    In a large disposable foil pan, combine the salsa con queso, cheddar cheese, water, cumin and cayenne.

    Stir in brats and macaroni. Sprinkle with pepper jack cheese and green onions.

    Place on the grill; cover with foil. Grill for 15-20 minutes or until hot.
