Bowtie Pasta Skillet

Ingredients

  • 1 package (13.5 ounces) JOHNSONVILLE Smoked Beef Rope Sausage, cut into 1/2-inch coin-slice pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2-1/4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup uncooked bowtie pasta
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar Jack cheese
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) roasted garlic and onion diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, to garnish

Cooking Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook sausage in oil over medium heat until browned; about 5 minutes. Removed from skillet; set aside.
  2. Add chicken broth; bring to a boil. Add pasta, lower heat and cook until liquid is absorbed, and pasta is cooked through.
  3. Add cheese; stirring until cheese is melted.
  4. Fold in the sausage, tomatoes and spinach.
  5. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes.
