Just Right

by Sue 4 weeks ago
So glad to find Johnsonville Breakfast links. I have tried many different brands but now my search for a great link is over - problem is, they are so good, I have to cook lots of extras as many of them don't even make it to the table! (There are some advantages of being the cook :))

To Lydia's post of Way Too Salty: I simply skip salt on other things - like eggs and hash browns - if I feel the need.

Way Too Salty

by Lydia 1 month ago
These are arguably the best breakfast sausage out there except for the fact they are way too salty. C'mon Johnsonville - stop trying to kill us all. Anyone with high blood pressure should probably stay away from these.

Very good but cooking instructions can be refined. Also a tad salty

by Tim Liao 2 months ago
I think your sausage is very good. But maybe you can refine your cooking technique / instructions. How about if you instruct people they can cook it by putting a cup full of water along with the links into a pan and cooking it until the water evaporates and then fry them up for just a few more minutes after? Why? Three reasons I like this method. #1 You can cook it out of the frozen state this way. #2 It adds a little moisture back into your very lean pork recipe therefore making it juicier. # It allows for some of the salt to evaporate with the steam; making your delicious sausages less salty. Add this second method on the cooking instructions and bam you will have a bigger sales. Sincerely Tim Liao - San Diego, CA

Amazing Flavor From Home Enjoyed by US Military Abroad

by Pete 10 months ago
Stationed in Europe, we are living in the countries where good pork sausage making began such as Germany, France, and Italy. And they make some wonderful varieties with old world taste. However none have the fabulous spice blend and taste of home in the USA that these Johnsonville Original Breakfast Sausage links provide. We love them. They arrive at our DECA military commissary fresh and well packaged.

cant miss these each week at the store! easy to cook great flavor and the whole family loves them!

by mark72 11 months ago
We have a family of four including two boys that need to get up and off to school or camp every day. I can through these on the griddle and in just a few minutes they are getting a hot meal in the morning. There are enough in the package that i can cook half at a time and save the other for the next day. The flavor keeps us coming back each week and they go with everything - eggs, toast, pancakes etc. Sometimes they try to get away with eating the sausage alone, and sometimes I let them. As a busy parent and business owner our time in valuable to us and spending some time in the kitchen eating breakfast is a great way to start the day. i am even teaching my seven year old son how to cook them! I even cook frozen biscuits and make sausage egg and cheese biscuits.
