Lost 30 Pounds Enjoying Johnsonville Fresh Sausage!. On the last day of February 2017, I was diagnosed with Type II diabetes and my doctor told me to lose weight. So I devised a âskinny chiliâ recipe using both the hot and mild Johnsonville ground sausage in the same recipe. I freeze the chili in handy one cup servings for portion control. At the end of 4 months, I had lost 30 pounds AND my A1C was in the normal range. No sign of even prediabetes. Itâs Dec of 2018 now and I have kept the weight off and my A1C has remained normal. Since I love this chili, I eat it about 3-5 times a week. No other sausage tastes as good as Johnsonville because I have had to substitute and itâs just not as tasty without Johnsonville. Thank you for a wonderful product!! — JoySee All Reviews
