You Can't Improve On Excellence!. I generally like to make everything homemade, but there are times when I don't always have the time to do that. Several times I "cheated" and bought frozen meatballs for a recipe that I was taking to a friend or a church potluck. I could not find one that didn't end up being really dry and chewy with the consistency of a hockey puck. THEN I discovered Johnsonville Frozen Italian Meatballs. WOW! I could not believe the size of those meatballs and the taste was amazing. They are moist and tasted like they were homemade . I have never made another homemade meatball since. These products are fully cooked and ready to eat out of the package or be prepared to your liking!
- In a large saucepan, combine meatballs and your favorite sauce.
- Bring to a boil, stirring often.
- Reduce heat and cover pan.
FROZEN: 20-25 minutes or until hot
THAWED: 15-20 minutes or until hot.
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- Arrange meatballs in a single layer on a shallow baking pan.
FROZEN: 28-32 minutes or until hot
THAWED: 20-22 minutes or until hot.
- Place 4 meatballs on a microwave-safe plate.
- Cover with a paper towel.
- Microwave on high:
FROZEN: 2 minutes or until hot
THAWED: 70-75 seconds or until hot.
- Let stand 1 minute before eating.
*Directions based on an 1100 watt microwave.
Keep frozen. Meatballs may be thawed in the refrigerator. Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
