I like the way the patty cooks up. It also is great when I toast a onion bun with some grilled onion and ketchup. Thanks for making a good product. Now only if our local stores would carry it. I need to drive aways to pick these up.
Just tried these and I'm happy to say that I'm pleasantly surprised. I've been eating brats for over 40 years, and these things have all of the flavor, yet cook up faster, and are far easier to eat. Burger form, in my humble opinion, lends itself better to slathering on the toppings - mustard, onions, or even cheese will be far more simply and efficiently applied to the pattiform bratwurst. Grilling was also easier - I didn't have to watch as closely because I didn't have to worry about exploding sausages. The patties cooked up beautifully with minimal supervision, which is good because I'm usually half in-the-tank when I'm at the grill controls. I'm looking forward to trying the other J-ville sausage-patty offerings.
We love these burgers (we buy the frozen package 6 1/3 lb burgers) I love brats but I have a problem biting thru the casings. This is a great alternative for me. I also saw where they have the mild Italian, cheddar brat and chorizo burgers too. I may never eat a regular hamburger again.
I really like these. I think they taste Great and are easy to cook. My only complaint is that they freeze together and I cant get them apart. I have to use a chef's knife. I wish they had paper in between each pattie.
