Italian Onion & Roquefort Sandwich

Italian Onion & Roquefort Sandwich Ingredients
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 oz. crumbled Roquefort or blue cheese
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. steak sauce
  • 1 tsp. minced chives
  • 1 tsp. chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 pkg. (19.76 oz.) Johnsonville® Italian Mild Sausage Links 
  • 5 hoagie rolls, split
Italian Onion & Roquefort Sandwich Directions

In a bowl, combine the first ten ingredients. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Grill sausage according to package directions. Place one grilled link in each roll; spoon onion and Roquefort dressing over sausage. If desired, grill or broil sandwich for 2-3 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve warm.
