Cheddar Brat Mac and Cheese

Cheddar Brat Mac and Cheese Ingredients
  • 1 pkg. (19.76 oz.) Johnsonville® Cheddar Bratwurst
  • 1 pkg. (16 oz.) elbow macaroni
  • 1 jar (23 oz.) Salsa Con Queso (Tostitos®)
  • 1 cup cubed sharp cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • ¾ cup shredded pepper Jack cheese
  • 3 green onions, sliced, optional
Cheddar Brat Mac and Cheese Directions

Preheat grill to medium-low heat. Grill brats according to package directions; cut into ½-in. slices. Cook macaroni according to package directions for firm pasta.

In a large disposable foil pan, combine the salsa con queso, cheddar cheese, water, cumin and cayenne. Stir in brats and macaroni. Sprinkle with pepper Jack cheese and green onions. Place on the grill; cover with foil. Grill for 15-20 minutes or until hot.

Tip:
To add a smoky flavor, add 3 cups of wood chips (that have soaked in water) to the grill.
