Eating a Healthy Lunch
A healthy lunch during the school day is essential to your child’s ability to learn. But if your child is a picky eater, finding a healthy lunch they’ll actually eat can be a challenge. One kid-friendly lunch option is a dipping tray. Cut fruits, veggies, and a lean protein, such as Johnsonville chicken sausage (it’s fully cooked so it makes this a quick and easy option) into bite-size pieces and put them, along with some whole grain crackers into separate sections of the tray. Fill the center with healthy dips, such as hummus or a yogurt-based ranch dip. Kids will enjoy eating these foods with their hands and dipping each bite!
